Latin American Matters (LAM) is a registered Harris School and Reynolds’ Club organization at the University of Chicago. LAM seeks to promote the discussion and better understanding of economic, social and political issues in Latin American countries through a public policy approach.
Women in Public Policy (WiPP) unites those who identify as women and their allies across the Chicago Harris community by listening to and amplifying all women’s voices and experiences. WiPP creates opportunities for advocacy, professional development, and inclusive dialogue focused on an array of public policy topics. WiPP creates some spaces exclusively for those who identify as women as well as others open to all.
Black Action in Public Policy Studies
Black Action in Public Policy Studies (BAPPS) focuses on public policy issues faced by Black communities, nationally and globally. BAPPS promote transformative change through programming high-quality, policy-based events centered around Black experiences, engaging in acts of service and developing of partnerships with the greater Chicago community, and providing professional networking opportunities.
Minorities in Public Policy Studies
Minorities in Public Policy Studies (MiPPS) serves as an academic, social, and cultural resource for policy students in the Harris School.
HarrisTech aims to promote discussion surrounding local, national and global issues at the intersection of policy and technology, providing a platform for students interested in pursuing careers in the technology sector.
OUTPolitik is the Harris School’s student organization for LGBTQ-identified students and allies committed to fostering a community of future policy professionals interested in issues affecting the LGBTQ community.
